I am not finished with Galatians. I will come back to this book after the beginning of a new year. It is hard to to stay with one book through all the interruptions of the church year. In the mean time I will making posts on my other page Joe's Sermon Notes
While I have enjoyed the time writing these blogs, I can see from the hits that few are interested. I must find ways to improve my subjects so that they enhance the worship experience. We shall see.

Well I think you gave it a good try but I am not sure that those of us that have not studied the bible just are having a hard time bringing "wisdom" forward from such an ancient time to today.
As I comented in my first comment, we have to see God through others eyes, and Paul's writing somehow just dosen't seem to play at today's level.
I think we all know that our organized religions are far from perfect as were those in Paul's day but his admonitions haven't carried enough weight to keep the current churches from having much the same problems.
If anything, we have learned that each generation much take up the banner of Christ in their own way and that because we are human we often miss the mark.
